Terms of Service
These terms explain what Fetchy provides and what you agree to when you use it.
1. What Fetchy is
Fetchy helps you prepare a copy of a public video, its audio or its thumbnail for your own device. It does not provide a searchable media library.
2. Permitted use
You may only use Fetchy to download:
- content you created or own;
- content licensed to you;
- content the rights holder or the source expressly permits you to download;
- content in the public domain or under a licence that allows copying.
Do not use Fetchy to copy, share or sell material unless you have the required rights. Your local law and the source site's terms also apply.
2a. File tools
The free tools on the Tools page process files on your device. Only use files you own or have the right to edit or convert. Do not use them to remove protection, watermarks or passwords from documents you are not allowed to change. Results are provided as-is; keep a copy of your original files.
3. No circumvention
Fetchy does not bypass digital rights management, paywalls, private settings, age gates or sign-in requirements. Protected content will not be processed.
4. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the links you submit and for how you use any file you save. You agree to comply with the terms of service of the source platform and with the copyright law that applies to you.
5. Availability
Fetchy is provided as available and free of charge. It relies on outside services, so some videos may not work and access may be interrupted. Features may change.
6. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, Fetchy and its operators are not liable for any loss or damage arising from your use of the service, including any claim brought against you in connection with content you download.
7. Changes
We may update these terms. If you continue using Fetchy after an update, the new terms apply.
