Copyright & DMCA
This page explains how to report copyright concerns involving Fetchy.
We do not host content
Fetchy has no media library, search index or user uploads. It processes a specific public link only after a visitor submits it.
We do not circumvent protection
Private videos, paid content, age-gated material and anything protected by a technical measure cannot be processed by Fetchy. Such requests are refused with an error.
File tools stay on your device
Files used with our Tools page are processed in your own browser and are never uploaded, stored or published by Fetchy, so we do not hold copies of them. Users remain responsible for having the rights to the files they convert.
Permitted use only
Visitors may only download content they own, have licensed or have permission to use. The person submitting a link is responsible for its use.
Sending a notice
If you believe Fetchy is being used in a way that infringes your rights, send us a message through the Contact page and choose the Copyright / DMCA topic. Include:
- your name, organisation and contact details;
- identification of the work concerned;
- the specific URL or behaviour you are reporting;
- a statement that you have a good-faith belief the use is not authorised by the rights holder, its agent or the law;
- a statement, under penalty of perjury, that your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act on the rights holder's behalf;
- your physical or electronic signature.
We review complete notices and may restrict a source when appropriate.
Counter-notice
If you believe a restriction was applied in error, you may send a counter-notice to the same address with your contact details, the material concerned and an explanation.
